Industry House is a unique property that
offers easy access to an often unpopulated beach, extensive grounds and
gardens which offer privacy and tranquility. The house is located in a former
plantation on Industry Bay on the windward side of Bequia. The bay is
protected from larger waves by an offshore reef making it a safe
swimming area for families.
The main house is fully furnished and offers
two air
conditioned bedrooms with two bathrooms, living/dining room, kitchen
and a delightful open air room for lounging. Maid service is provided
three
mornings per week.
In keeping with the peaceful/tranquil nature of Industry House, television is not
available. Guests are welcomed to use the extensive estate house library. There is
a beautiful view of the bay filtered through the coconut trees.
At the far end of the nearly deserted beach is the small beach
bar/restaurant, the
Crescent Beach Inn which offers Breakfast, Lunch and
Dinner by arrangement. The
Old Hegg Turtle
Sanctuary is less than one kilometer down the road.
The town of Port Elizabeth, commonly referred to as
“The Harbour” is approximately two kilometers away, where you will
find groceries, restaurants and bars which provide occasional live music.
Upon arrival you will be met by our
representative to familiarize you with Industry House.
